On April 28, 2025, Suzhou Agix Optical Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated two significant milestones: the successful completion of the Suzhou factory relocation ceremony and the official opening of the new site; and on the same day, Hebi Agix Optical Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated its second anniversary. All Agix employees gathered to celebrate the relocation, reminisce about two years of glory, and jointly envision a new blueprint for the high-quality development of the optical communication industry.

On April 28, 2025, Suzhou Agix Optical Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated two significant milestones: the successful completion of the Suzhou factory relocation ceremony and the official opening of the new site; and on the same day, Hebi Agix Optical Technology Co., Ltd. celebrated its second anniversary. All Agix employees gathered to celebrate the relocation, reminisce about two years of glory, and jointly envision a new blueprint for the high-quality development of the optical communication industry.
The Suzhou factory relocation is a key step for Agix in optimizing its R&D and production layout and improving capacity efficiency. Following the relocation, the new plant is located at No. 53 Liufeng Road, Hedong Industrial Park, Wuzhong Economic Development Zone, Suzhou City, covering an area of 10,273.10 square meters, representing a significant expansion and upgrade in scale compared to the old site. The new plant is fully equipped with standardized production workshops, high-end R&D laboratories and modern office areas. It strictly follows environmental protection compliance requirements and implements a number of environmental protection measures such as rainwater and sewage separation, exhaust gas noise reduction and solid waste standardized disposal. It creates a 100,000-level dust-free, constant temperature and humidity refined production environment to meet the R&D and mass production needs of high-end optical communication products [2][4]. The new plant focuses on core products such as fiber optic patch cords and passive optical modules, and plans to produce 800,000 fiber optic patch cords and 4 million passive optical modules annually. By adding automated production equipment such as end-of-line testing instruments, curing ovens and grinding machines, it further improves production efficiency and product precision, strengthens Agix's technical advantages and capacity reserves in core products such as FAU and MPO high-density connectors [3][4][5], and lays a solid foundation for the company to cultivate the field of passive optical communication devices and expand the global market.
On the same day, the Hebi factory celebrated its second anniversary. Looking back on the past two years of hard work, it has achieved fruitful results and made firm progress. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou Agix, Hebi Agix was officially established on April 28, 2023, and successfully put into production in August of the same year. The total area of the factory is 14,000 square meters and the number of employees has exceeded 2,000.[1][6] Over the past two years, the Hebi factory has steadily promoted the construction of the third phase of the project and put it into production. The total investment exceeds RMB 50 million. It has built a complete production line covering MPO/MTP high-density fiber pre-connector system, optical patch cord and device automated production. It is equipped with a full set of professional equipment such as multi-channel tester, interferometer, automatic image measuring instrument, etc. The current annual production capacity has reached millions of fiber optic connectors, about 5 million optical module components, and about 400,000 optical cable components.[1] With its mature quality control system and efficient production capacity, the Hebi factory achieved a total output value of RMB 134.6859 million and main business revenue of RMB 117.8096 million in 2024. In the first quarter of 2025, it achieved outstanding results with main business revenue of over RMB 50 million, becoming a core mass production base in Agix's global production capacity layout, providing stable and efficient product supply to domestic and overseas customers [1].
At the celebration, the atmosphere was warm and solemn. All colleagues witnessed these two important moments and shared joy and glory. The company leaders delivered a speech, reviewing the growth and breakthroughs of the Hebi factory over the past two years and affirming the hard work and dedication of all employees. At the same time, they expressed their expectations for the newly relocated Suzhou factory, hoping that it would empower new development with the new environment, stimulate new momentum with the new layout, form efficient synergy with the Hebi factory, and further improve the industrial system of "Suzhou R&D + Hebi mass production + overseas layout" [3]. The speech mentioned that since its establishment in 2009, Suzhou Agix has always focused on the field of passive optical communication devices and has now built three major production bases in Suzhou, Hebi, and Thailand. The relocation of the Suzhou factory and the second anniversary celebration of the Hebi factory are not only important milestones in the company's development, but also an important step for Agix to seize industry opportunities, expand its production capacity, and enhance its core competitiveness [1][3][5]. The relocation opens a new chapter, and two years of brilliant achievements continue. The new Suzhou factory will further enhance Agix's R&D innovation capabilities and high-end product mass production capabilities, and rely on the industrial advantages of the Suzhou area to deepen technology R&D and industrial chain collaboration; the two years of accumulation of the Hebi factory have laid a solid foundation for the company's large-scale and standardized production, and will continue to provide high-quality optical communication products to global customers. The synergy of the two bases will effectively improve Agix's market response speed, better serve leading domestic and foreign customers such as InnoLight, Cambridge Technologies, Google, and NVIDIA, and help the company expand its market in emerging fields such as AI computing power, 5G, and data centers [1]. Standing at a new historical starting point, Suzhou Agix will take this double celebration as an opportunity to uphold its original aspiration of innovation, cultivate the field of optical communication, continuously optimize its production capacity layout, strengthen technology research and development and quality control, promote the continuous iteration and upgrading of products, and cultivate the research and development and production of high-density, high-performance optical communication devices[3][5].
