FAU Mode-Field Conversion Scheme

Agix's Fiber Array Units (FAUs) are designed for superior stability and low insertion loss. They achieve low-loss coupling of optical signals between optical fibers and devices such as silicon photonic chips through special fusion discharge processing to adjust the mode field diameter (e.g., converting 9μm to 3-6μm). For high-density integration, we offer SM fibers with different mode fields and FAUs with spacing as low as 80/127/250 μm.

FAU 90-degree Bend

A special fiber optic array technology enables large-angle bending up to 90 degrees. It reduces fiber height by 50%, for example, reducing the height of the fiber optic array unit (FAU) used in data center transceivers to less than 4 mm, while simultaneously increasing fiber density by 35% within a given width, such as reducing the width of a 72-core FAU to less than 9 mm. This technology offers advantages such as high core-to-core spacing tolerance and the ability to accommodate a large number of channels, enabling low-profile fiber coupling to chips.

Fiber Optic Z-BLOCK TFF WDM

Agix's fiber optic Z-Block module design integrates various micro-optical components, including fiber optic receptacles, optical collimators or lenses, and wavelength division multiplexers (WDMs).
